The 'EB' Signet, c. 1924

The 'EB' Signet, c. 1924
Chosen from England.
Buttery 18 carat gold signet engraved with the monogram 'E' 'B', woven together in a flourished ribbon script. Inside, an inscription that remains unmistakably clear: 'From Father 26.10.24'.
This beautiful ring shows that it was worn, not just kept. It is a fine piece, bearing the mark of Nathan Brothers, a prominent jewellery manufacturer, once of Vyse Street, Birmingham. Its nicks and scratches have accumulated over a century, and we hope its new owner adds a few more (gently of course, for good measure).
